About the Creator

My husband and I are the small team behind Aurora Dawn Skin Care. I founded Aurora Dawn and formulate and create our products, while he plays a vital role in pouring soaps, preparing for markets and many of the practical jobs behind the scenes.

After many years as a Registered Nurse, I wanted to continue caring for others in a new way. Inspired by nature—from my prairie roots to the wild beauty of the Atlantic coast I now call home—I create botanical skincare, body care and artisan soaps using high-quality butters, oils and carefully blended essential oils. Sustainability is important to me, so I choose recyclable packaging whenever possible.

One of my favourite things at markets is watching someone pause to experience a product—the scent, the texture and the way a cream or facial oil feels on their skin—and seeing the smile that follows. That small moment is the heart of Aurora Dawn and our invitation to Try Something Beautiful.
